You are entering a lively, virtual community - a 'network of networks' - with a growing directory of diverse learning opportunities which is rapidly developing from its launch on December 1, 2007. The LDC exists to make learning (and the sharing of problems and solutions) both easier and more fun, for everyone with an interest in provision and/or services for ASD; BESD or Looked After Children..
It is daily becoming more comprehensive in its coverage of multi-agency training and workforce development opportunities but you can help by:
- advertising through the LDC - whatever skills/expertise or training opportunities you have to offer
- using the LDC as your 'one-stop shop' to find a match for your own development needs.
You can use the links on the left-hand side of the page to have a look around the top-level of the site, and find out about some of the functions of the LDC, without logging in. You will also be able to log in and use the Coursefinder and Expertisefinder functions without registering.
However, this is just the tip of the iceberg, and to really explore its potential, you need to Register as a New User by completing a simple online form. You can then follow the on-screen instructions and choose which networked communities you want to apply to join... or even apply to set up your own! Once logged in, you will automatically become a member of the Partnershipspace online community and can begin to 'network' within the LDC.
